Play football with his sons, he would come and watch quite a lot home and away. Sad news for the Roeder family. RIP.

Aside from his time with us, I remember watching him play over the orient with my grandad who was a fan.

Sad news.
Quite young, in his 60s.
I think he tried his best for us and was an honest guy.
RIP

As others said, always seemed like a decent guy. I actually rather enjoyed his first season in charge of us.

Re: Glenn Roeder
Ouch. RIP

First time I'd heard of him was on the Right Hammerings video, he scored an own goal when we beat Newcastle about 6-1 in about 1988. My dad joked that he did it cos he supported West Ham. Years later after his management stint, he also joked that that own goal was the best thing he'd ever done for us. Which made me laugh.

Terrible news though. Thoughts with his family.
